I just want to extend a huge thank you to all the people at MDW for hosting such an amazing event, in particular Alex and Sonja who worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran so well. I was sorry to have to leave early today as I know I would have really enjoyed the remaining paper sessions and concerts. I look forward to seeing you all again in two years time, wherever that might be!
Thank you Sonja... Thank you Alex... Thanks especially to Rob and Julien at the board and Tim at the installations... so so awesome and so grateful.

Thanks Alex and Sonja and everyone at MDW! I thoroughly enjoyed the

And from me also, congratulations and thanks to everyone involved for organizing this conference so well.
It was very informative, inspiring and motivational but above all else friendly.
Best regards and if not sooner I’m looking forward to meeting you again at the next ICSC.

Never have I ever come home with so many questions raised, impressions gathered, mixed feelings, and new connections.
One thing is sure: I am definitely committed and I sincerely hope to find more time to improve and contribute to this community—helping all of you, thinking and shaping Csound in the best way for us and future generations.
Thank you!
Hi all,
I spoke Thursday dinner with Alex, I make yet the proposal many years ago (before Cagli) to my colleagues in Conservatory of Palermo; tomorrow I met they again and can reflect about (there is an octophonic concert of Barry Truax!). The structure is of course not as Wien… I can promise nothing. But the Csound community now that I knew personally is to me creative, various and indipendent; and also has a strong presence in Italy, and South Italy.
Thanks all for these memorable days
Giovanni
yes, and we are used to have more "hands on" than in vienna ---- so giovanni don't hesitate to host the next conference even if you don't have the same infrastructure. each conference is different, and that's great.

Hi everyone
I could not attend the conference and was wondering if the proceedings and/or video recordings will be made available?
Hope to see you all in two years!
This is fantastic news, Giovanni! Thank you so much for considering it and being eager to host the next conference in Palermo!
I feel that the Italian Csound community is a very strong and truly important part of the “global Csound”, to have the conference second time in Italy feels just very right.

The question is where? Was this discussed at all?
Thank you everybody for the wonderful time and organisation! Thank you for the paper sessions, concerts, installations!
See you all again in two years!
Cheers!

I did’nt expect so much enthusiasm for Palermo, and as I wrote, I can’t assure that, I must persuade some colleagues, and search a reliable organisatory team; we can see next season… (Barry Truax this week was satisfied of octophonic monographic concert and masterclass, and was sold-out).
Otherwise, Joachim, could be an alternative Teheran? Hopefully the political troubles of Middle-East don’t get worse, if it’s possible.
hope you can convince your collegues, and i like to repeat: it is very well possible to host a conference with a less perfect audiosystem than we had in vienna. even just having stereo in a club would be an option ... =)
thanks for your suggestion regarding tehran. i always missed a csound conference in asia, and tehran would indeed be an option regarding an active community. but there must happen three or more miracles to change the political environments in a way that this might be possible. to put it positive: we have to wait. (the negative form i supress.)
