I’m no lawyer, but I think this is fine. The fact that you’re asking these questions on a public forum already shows that you’re trying to respect the license. FWIW, I’m not a huge fan of the LGPL. It can make using Csound in commercial applications a bit of a pain. That said, from what I understand, we’re actually quite lucky to have it; the previous license was far less permissive.
I’m happy with a re-licensing, as far as I am
concerned.
Btw, I do believe the LGPL is the right licence for the Csound library, even though I mostly use permissive licences for my own private work.
