Together with the description this opens a very dark world. The
succession of strings and otherworldly sound design unfolds the story or
idea like a bad dream. Wonderful, but disgusting. Great work!

Just finished listening. Great stuff. The juxtaposition of the lush strings with distorted electronics really pulls the listener in. I have only a vague knowledge of the Lovecraft story this is based on, but I will add it to my reading list! Then I will take another listen

Your string writing and harmonic vocabulary are glorious and sacred and the perfect “frame” of our melancholy, complex, and troubled reality against which there is revealed a deeper level- unseen yet.
As Rory Walsh has said. We need to read Lovecraft this summer to better appreciate this awesome work of yours, and to anticipate the rest of your Trilogy!

I would like to see some of your Csound instruments. It is not clear to me what role the Electric Violin plays. Is it responsible for the realization of some of the characters in the piece/score?
How were the strings realized? What sample library was used for this version?
It ends as powerfully as it begins.
One suggestion, if I may be so presumptuous. But since the strings are so beautifully and mournfully languorous throughout the work, when you end with the jellyfish/monster rumble, you might want to add some echo, reverb, or layering, and fade them as they continue to wander about in the revealed reality. The work is too epic for it to end with “just” a low grunt.
