I’m working on a sequencer app and I was wondering if it’s possible to internally reset the phase of metro or metro2 to its initial starting point? I want to be able to start/stop the metronome and when restarting having the clock reset essentially.

when you put the metro in an instrument which you terminate and restart,
it will do what you need.
so it sounds to me like a question of your program’s architecture. i
don’t know if it is possible for you to have this design.
