macOS - can't open library librtjack.dylib

Hi,

Just installed csound version 6.18 on macOS 12.6 (Monterey) on an M1 machine.

In trying to run a simple demo script (https://csound.com/docs/manual/examples/clockoff.csd) .

It actually runs but it produces a warning:

WARNING: could not open library '/Library/Frameworks/CsoundLib64.framework/Versions/6.0/Resources/Opcodes64/librtjack.dylib' (-1)

I am guessing this has to do with macOS security where you have to approve every downloaded binary if you didn’t get it from the App Store. I have already approved the csound command line executable, but not sure how to approve librtjack.dylib (which does exist in that location).

Not sure if I need it but it would be great to get that warning to go away.
Thanks.

Hi!

It means You can just ignore that warning, it is probably you don’t have jack audo server installed but you can do very well also without that.

Greetings,
tarmo
