Hello, I am trying to install Csound and Qt, when I try and run, it crashes instantly.

csound-MacOS_x86_64-6.17.0 08.59.28

CsoundQt-d-cs6

Mac Catalina 10.15.7

Could anyone suggest a fix?

Thank you.

Can you post the crash log? This should be offered by the OS when an application crashes. You can copy and paste the output here. Are you sure Csound is installed? If should be located in /Library/Frameworks/.

Hi!

Which CsoundQt bersion are you using?
Please try one of the latest release candidates:
https://github.com/CsoundQt/CsoundQt/releases/tag/v1.1.0-rc2

Scroll down for the Assets and pick a Mac build. One includes Csound, other not. You can figure that from the file name.

Can you post the crash log? It might be useful for the CsoundQT devs to see it.

Is that not what I posted above?

Or something else?

Thanks for helping.

THAT’S IT!!

Thank you so much…

I was using an older build.

Thanks again.
