Hi all, just wondering what the status is of csound on electrosmith daisy. I found a few email mentions of people working on it, but am not clear if there is a straightforward, completed way to do so. I’d love to try getting it going on my Daisy Patch if so!
With Csound 7 it is definitely possible, it was demonstrated in Cs conference in Vienna.
Victor can tell more.
But indeed, I think it is a very promising path! I am very much interested to try it, too, one day.

I’m excited at the prospect of using Csound in library form to create firmware, in particular for three particular Eurorack platforms from Noise Engineering (Versio, Legio, and Alia), all of which are based on Daisy. Even though it may be a while before I have the bandwidth to work on them.
Hi Iain. Yes, those devices are all open platforms based on Daisy. Noise Engineering offers several different firmwares for each and encourages users to make their own. I have a couple of things I made for the Qu-Bit Nebulae (using Csound) that I would like to port at some point.
