Thanks for your message.

I cloned the Csound plugins repository from GitHub, navigated to the 6.x directory and built the plugins using cmake and make. The libchua.dylib file was successfully generated in:

/Users/myname/plugins/6.x/build/src/chua/libchua.dylib

However, I have not yet moved this file to Csound’s default plugin directory (/Users/myname/Library/csound/6.0/plugins64/), which may explain why it is not being loaded...

The plugin directory is correct, the file was found. If you are running on arm, then it may be the reason it is not loading, as it may not have been built for that architecture. An oldet version of CsoundQT for x86_64 might solve it then, running on Rosetta. Csound can run on both, but the frontend may not.
