I remember that, and I remember taking a fairly extensive part in the discussion,
but I've been scouring my archives and I can't find ang trace! Could've sworn
I'd preserved it...
Anyway, I will respectfully disagree with Dr. B about the design of the 'C'.
I *like* the somewhat decorative design and remember some alternative "C's
that IMO were less attractive.
I've standardised on that logo (minus the 'CSOUND' text) for the icon for
CSD files on my Haiku system (see attachment). The 'paper stack' base of
the icon is standard for text files on Haiku.

Yours stack looks very nice, but… is your ‘C’ leaning - like on the website or… did you straighten it out and lean the stack?
My less the 2c — I like this logo, but I am wondering if it could lose a bit of weight and gain a bit of elegance - that’s all
Thanks, Dr B.! I don 't really remember exactly how I made the logo
but I suspect I just rotated the whole thing until it "looked right"...
The "stack" is just a standard template used as base for most 'text-type'
files. It's always at that orientation.
Regarding your following message, on reinspection I wonder if the 'C'
would look better with a slightly less prominent 'knob'. Just a thought.
