# Mic input not working in Csound Web IDE

Hi,

I’m trying to run @stevenyi’s [Realtime Audio Processing Example](https://ide.csound.com/editor/2TZwvk7nAIAZ0J6TK0dT) in the Csound Web IDE, but the microphone input isn’t working. I’ve tried it in Firefox (105.0.2 ), Chrome 105.0.5195.125), and Safari (15.3), and it doesn’t work. I was expecting to get a pop up asking for permission to use my microphone, but I’m not getting that in any browser. Other Csound projects run fine in the IDE.

I’m on a MacBook Pro with the M1 chip running macOS 11.6.3.

Is this a bug, or is there something I need to do to make this work?
