# CSQT .exe file

I needed to reinstall CsoundQt on my windows computer. I can only open the application when the exe is in the bin folder, in my program files. For some reason, this time when I try to copy it out to desktop, I get an error message saying it cant open because “no qt platform plugin could be initialised”.  
Is there a fix?

Hi!

Yes, you cannot move the exe away, it looks for Qt and other libraries next to it.  
There are tricks how it were possible but I guess you can make a linkt to an application to Desktop?

Simple - do not move CsoundQt.exe away, run it from the bin folder as it is.
