Hello everyone,
at Michael Gogins' next online International Csound Users Group Meeting (Thursday May 2nd): https://listserv.heanet.ie/cgi-bin/wa?A2=ind2405&L=CSOUND&P=51
Jeanette C. and I, we would like to present "the Ondes", a wavetable synthesizer/synthesis toolkit. The Ondes is implemented as a collection of User Defined Opcodes. It focuses on the creation and conversion of wavetables as well as providing a feature rich environment as might be found in dedicated wavetable synthesizers.
The code has not been released and is not feature complete, though all existing components are fully functional. We would like to encourage questions and suggestions, either at the meeting or, in more detail, afterwards in writing.
Sounds cool – I’m also going to be presenting on the ever-evolving microcsound system, which is now enjoying a v2 existence online, per the other thread.
Hi Art, thanks for the interest. Perhaps Michael can chime in on that, I’m not sure what’s involved but as meeting host I think he can, although I don’t like to hand him extra work. It appears the option is also available to guests but possibly only on a desktop system which may not be available on the Android OS/Zoom app which I use.
Worst case scenario I can try using my screen recording app. I’ll look into this more tonight.
If it doesn’t work I’m happy to write up a synopsis afterwards as well as posting the musical examples presented.
