I have a new Csound track (a short one, especially for me) on a compilation called No To War on the Post-Orientalism Music label. The track is called Threnody, and you can stream it here:
Please note that there is a low-frequency component (45 Hz) that will certainly be inaudible if played on laptop or phone speakers. It’s better on decent headphones, but best on a good stereo, ideally with a subwoofer.
This is made in Csound, with reverb and mastering down in Reaper using the Eventide Black Hole and Izotope Ozone plugins. I used 600EDO tuning, in a very abstract way, with no regard for recognizable scales or harmony. You might call this a “noise” piece, at least relative to my usual work.

This was a short piece indeed! the low rumble did shake the room, at the
right volume. When the higher swarm of notes came in first, I felt
reminded of a huge swarm of insects. With all swarms in parallel, I did
truely approximate noise. I've always meant to try and never did. I can
now confirm: it works! Thanks for sharing, I enjoyed that!
Yes - Powerful piece and that is how it ends at BandCamp - but the raw csd just cuts off.
you might want to share a ‘stereo’ version of the raw CSD too - I love your work (as you know), and play it all the time and share it all the time too.
I am not sure that just mixing the L base with the L chords and the R bass with the R chords has the ‘correct’ balance. I can adjust, but I don’t like to meddle - I just prefer to share.
