the recording of the concert at the Csound conference. It is a binaural recording,
so optimal for headphones but does work on stereo speakers.
This album is out now on Spotify
and bandcamp
and other streaming services.

This was very impressive and pleasant. Is this a mix of a true recording
from the room and machine produced sound? In the second piece, I fancy
that I can hear the device that was used to trigger the bursts in the
intro. The "human" movement in the first piece was also nice. I almost
formed a third layer of envionment, that in the small room, the clear
piano-like notes in the bigger one and the really reverberant material
in the hall. Also the sonic movements were great. I loved the synth
tones in there!

Thanks for this. It's a live recording of the concert done with a binaural mic in the Klangtheater. So the sounds recorded are coming from the loudspeakers, but of course there are other sounds in the room (from the audience etc)
Because the mic was close to me, you can hear the key noises from the midi controller (an yamaha clavinova) in that section.
The sounds are all from a Nord Lead 4 processed through Csound (the concert debut of Csound 7!).

Hm, you had really good mics then! The sound is very good, the spatial
depth is amazing.

Hurray for Csound 7. Ah, I was wondering how you'd generated the sounds
and thought that it showed the "classic poppy" qualitiies of Csound
really well.
