Hey hey,
I have two questions on quadraphonic audio in particular. What is the most used or standard ordering of channels? I've seen left front, right front, left rear and right rear.
Secondly, if I want to compress a quadraphonic signal, what do I use as the sidechain input: a mix of all four channels or every channel by itself? This is compression just to tame dynamics, as in mastering/finalising a mix.
