[Csnd] CsoundQt v1.1.3 examples crashing

Hi all,

I’ve just installed the experimental universal build of CsoundQt v1.1.3 (based on Qt6), but I’m encountering frequent crashes when running many of the examples.

I’m using a Mac M3 and running Csound 6.18. Has anyone else experienced similar issues with this setup, or is there a known compatibility problem?

I don't know but 1.1.1 is absolutely solid here in my experience.

You can try Cabbage instead. It's universal

Hi!

If you have time, can you test if CsoundQt7 with Csound7 behaves the same way? Be aware, it is marked alpha still.

Hi Tarmo,

just to let you know that I think your beta build of CsoundQT went out of sync with the current binary (the ABI has changed it looks like, which can happen)
and it’s not working with the current artefacts. I think you may need to do a new build against the more recent (latest) lib binaries.
