I am glad to share that Sergey Fedorov has prepared a CsoundQt MacPorts version, Mac users please feel to test and try:

A MacPort Version of CsoundQt is very exciting.
I did run into an issue when trying to install on my M2 MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.2.1
After successfully installing ‘many’ dependencies it reported that it could not install Csound (as shown below)

  • should this matter? If I have already installed Csound?

To install CsoundQt, paste this in macOS terminal after installing MacPorts

sudo port install CsoundQt
