[Csnd] 7.0 build error

Good day to all,
i am trying to build 7.0 just cloned.
i get this error:
[ 0%] Generating csound_orcparse.c, csound_orcparse.h
~/csound/Engine/csound_orc.y:24.9-16: syntax error, unexpected identifier, expecting string
make[2]: *** [csound_orcparse.c] Error 1
make[1]: *** [CMakeFiles/CsoundLib64.dir/all] Error 2
make: *** [all] Error 2

any hint would be appreciated.

It's a bison issue. What version of bison do you have?

Hello Victor,

Yes, the problem was bison is installed with Xcode
and its version is 2.3!
i installed bison with brew (3.8.x)
And all is fine now.

yep, Apple's bison version is ridiculously old.
